I believe that theatre is what brings great writing and great stories to life. I finds the way that we express ourselves, the images we draw on and the things left unsaid provide incredible insights into human nature and are often the driving forces behind incredible stories. Theatre and storytelling transcend all cultures and time as they explore the very basis of human experience, thought, and feeling. Consequently I consider theatre to be a living, breathing organism that can be in a constant dialogue with its audience, whatever the time or culture in which it was originally written. I intend to be at the very centre of this continuing dialogue between theatre and the world we live in.
